New therapeutic foods added to the menu in collaboration with the Department of Pathological Nutrition and Therapeutics, University of Tokyo Hospital.
Asken Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroshi Nakajima) and the Department of Pathological Nutrition Therapy, University of Tokyo Hospital (Head Office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Naoto Kubota) are pleased to announce the addition of therapeutic food menus to the menu search database of "Asken," a diet management application and web service developed and operated by Asken Diet and its partners.
Asken Diet, together with the University of Tokyo Hospital's Department of Nutrition and Therapeutics, will select foods and conduct nutritional research to enhance convenience for users with diabetes, chronic kidney disease and other lifestyle-related illnesses that require dietary therapy, and will provide information on energy-adjusted foods such as home-delivered meals, low-protein foods, sugar-adjusted foods, and foods with nutritional functions such as dietary supplements. We have expanded our menu of food and nutritional supplements. The addition of these therapeutic foods to Asken Diet's current menu of more than 100,000 meals, including both restaurant and commercial foods, is expected to improve support for users with the disease.
