What is asken’s Goal?

asken's mission is to "make people's tomorrow healthier than today", and everyone has "power to choice food" for their health. Plus, we would like to provide society with increased happiness by extending healthy life expectancy by eliminating obesity and improving nutritional balance.

Social issues through food are growing globally. Food and Land Use Coalition (FOLU) (* 2) estimated that “Health costs” account for the largest share at $ 6.6 trillion among the negative costs caused by world’s food systems.

Until now, asken has been using the diet management app "Asken" that combines the knowledge of nutritional science of registered dietitians with AI technology.

We have supported the improvement of dietary health issues for more than 5.3 million people (* 1) in Japan, the United States, and Canada.

In addition to the weight loss effect (* 3), the intake of vitamins and minerals increases and the nutritional improvement effect can be seen for asken app users (* 3).

However, it also improves nutritional balance.  In this program, asken will work with representative partner companies and start-up companies around the world to improve the "choice of meals" for everyone.

We will take on the challenge of achieving "tomorrow's health" around the world with the aim of solving social issues.
